Description of Aerobic Classes

 

Abs - A quick, yet highly effective 15 minute workout for your abdominals and back. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Body Sculpt – A full body strength and endurance class, utilizing a variety of equipment such as weights, bands and balls.  Designed to improve overall strength and body composition. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Boot CampAn athletic-based, cardio class, combining drills, plyometrics, and weight training.  Class designed to improve total body fitness, utilizing a variety of tools and body weight. Bootcamp designed for intermediate to advanced participants. WE RECOMMEND BEGINNERS MODIFY THEIR INTENSITY ON THEIR OWN FITNESS LEVEL.

 

Cardio Conditioning – This class kicks your heart rate into the fat burining zone by incorporating step, kickboxing and floor aerobics that are high energy and exciting.  Class ends with toning.  ALL LEVELS WELCOME. Beginners should modify based on their fitness level.

 

Cardio Freestyle - A super charged class using a variety of different formats: steps, kickboxing, and hi/ho.  This class is a great way to keep your workouts challenging yet fun. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

C.S.I. - This class is designed to MIX IT UP! Cardio and strength intervals combined to give you a total body workout.  Intervals are combinations of hi/lo, step, kickboxing, sports drill and/or weights.  A great class to keep you challenged and interested. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Cardio Interval  - This class is designed to MIX IT UP! Intervals are combinations of hi/lo, step, kickboxing, sports drill and/or weights.  A great class to keep you challenged and interested!  ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Cardio Kickboxing - Kick and punch your way through a high intensity workout.  Learn the latest kickboxing moves to keep the energy flowing.  Class ends with toning. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Cardio Sculpt – Burn fat and tone your body with a blend of cardio and strength training using a variety of equipment to get a strong, lean body. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Cardio Conditioning - This class kicks your heart rate into the fat burning zone by incorporating a combination of aerobic exercise and weights.  A great way to burn fat and build lean muscle, all at the same time! Class is 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.  All levels welcome; beginners should modify based on their fitness level.

 

Everybody's Strength - Designed for the novice exerciser.  Class uses light weights to help the novice exerciser ese their way into a weight training program.  A great class to join if you want to learn proper technique and form.  ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Everybody's Workout - Designed for the novice exerciser.  Class may vary with formats such as step, kickboxing and hi/lo but is kept on a beginner's level.  If you are just starting out, this is the class for you! ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Freestyle Cardio – This class will be a variety of cardiovascular classes; like kickboxing, step, and boot camp, etc.

 

Kickboxing – Basic kickboxing moves set to music.  An intense workout to improve strength, balance and coordination without physical contact! ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Kickboxing Plus  - Basic kickboxing moves set to music.  An intense workout to improve strength, balance and coordination without physical contact.  PLUS  - includes a weight portion in class.ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Pilates - Focus on core strength (back and abdominals).  Pilates is a great way to build strength, tone and increase flexibility.  Mat is required. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

StepHi energy class using adjustable platforms, 4-8 inches.  Learn the basics and the latest in step choreography.  Mambo and Repeater your way to a toned lower body.  WE RECOMMEND BEGINNERS USE NO RISERS.

 

Senior Fit - This is a low impact class designed for the senior population.  Includes cardiovascular, strength and flexibility that may be performed in a standing or seated position.  Individuals with disabilities may also benefit. Participants should bring water.

 

Senior Stretch - A yoga class designed with the seniors in mind.  Increasing flexibility while using a chair and yoga straps.  Participants should bring water.

 

Super Sets - Supersetting is an advanced training technique doing multiple exercises in a row with no rest in between.  An excellent way to improve muscular development when you have limited time to exercise.

 

Walk Away the Weight - Designed as a low impact workout to burn the fat, while keeping it simple.  Class includes light hand weights and use of the walking track, on occassion.  ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

Yogalattes – A fusion of yoga and pilates to create well-rounded core strength and flexibility.  Sometimes utilizing a stability ball for added resistance. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

 

YogaThis class applies Hatha yoga poses together in a safe, effective way to improve flexibility, balance and coordination. A great way to improve your posture. ALL LEVELS WELCOME. Children ages 10 and up are welcome as long as parents participate.

 

Classes must have a minimum of 5 students to remain on the schedule
