Baby Bazaar

A giant sale with new and used baby and children clothing, toys and other item. Come early for the best pick! Do you have extra baby items or kid's clothing? Booth space is only $15.00. Commercial Business and Individuals welcome.
Kid's Night Out
Sat. Feb 16th @ 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm
A fun time for kids at the Recreation Center while parents enjoy a night out or a quiet evening home. We will have tons of games, crafts, basketball and climbing wall activities and more. Cost is $15.00 per child or two children for $25.00 till Feb 14th and includes Pizza and snacks. If space is available at the door cost is $20.00.
6th Annual Dad and Daughter Dance
Sat. Feb 23rd @ 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm
Don't Miss this popular event. Enjoy dancing and refreshment for " A Night your daughter will never forget" . Tickets are available in advance at Mustang Recreation Center for only $5.00 per person. Buy your tickets early, since this event sells out every year. NO Tickets will be sold at the door. We will have a professional photographer will be available for photos.

Teddy Bear Sleepover
Friday, March 7th @ 5:30 pm
Bring your teddy bear to his or hers first sleepover! Teddy bear owners and bears will enjoy activities from 5 to 8 with refreshments, craft and games. At 8 Bear Owners will go home and the fun will begin for the Teddy bears. Photos of all the fun will be available the next morning when bears are picked up. $5.00 per Teddy Bear and Friend.
Mayor's Easter Egg Hunt
Sat. March 15th @ 10 am sharp
Eggstra! Eggstra! Read all about it! 10,000 eggs will be place in Wild Horse Park for this big event. Children, ages 11 and under are invited to gather tens of thousands of plastic eggs with large and small prizes, area coupons and candy. Special area for children 3 and under. Peter Cotton Tail will be out special guest. FREE

American Red Cross Babysitting Course
Wed. March 19th @ 10:30 am
Become a super babysitter. Learn first aid and rescue breathing, Basic child and infant care, emergency procedures, and personal safety are covered in a fun class style. Participant 11 and up will receive American Red Cross certification. Cost is $30.00 per participant and includes the Red Cross Babysitter's Handbook.
Junk in the Trunk
Sat. March 29th @ 8 am to Noon
it's time to clean out that storage unit or closet and bring all you sellable treasures to one giant yard sale. Reserve a space in Town Centers parking lot and see what the power of numbers can do! Registration deadline is Thursday, March 27th. Cost is $20.00 per space.

5th and 6th grade dance
Sat. April 5th @ 7 to 9 pm
Dance to the DJ, Play pool, air hockey or fosse ball in the game room, climb the wall or just spend time with your friends. Concession and limited free snacks. Cost $5.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door. for more details call 376-3411.
Lifeguard Course
Last weekend in March and first weekend in April
This American Red Cross course certifies lifeguards and includes CPR and first aid course. Everything need to be ready for apply for those summer jobs as a lifeguard in the Area. Call Jean at 376-7739 more details.

Woofstock
A festival for people and dogs!

Wild Horse Park
A festival for dogs and people. Don't Miss the first annual Woofstock, this will be a fun- filled event for you and the pets you love! Bring your family and canine companion to enjoy the day - demonstration, contests, food and vendors with pet- oriented products and information will be available for you and you family pet to visit. Join us for the Woofin, Waggin' Walk, a casual 1 mile walk during the Woodstock event. Admission to Woofstock is free.
Woofin' Waggin Walk
Sat. April 19th @ 10 am
This is a great way for you and your furry friend to exercise together and have fun. This casual walk is just about 1 mile long. All canine participants must be on a non- retractable leash, current on all vaccination and be non aggressive. All registrants will receive a t shirt (for the human) and bandana (for the dog) and a bag of goodies for both! $15.00 for 1st dog and $5.00 for additional dogs. Pre registration and payment is required for this walk. Registration deadline is April 1st
American Red Cross CPR AND FIRST AID CLASSES
March - May
Do you need CPR or First aid for you job? Or would you just like to be certified. The Park and Recreation department offers classes each year during our staff training and you are welcome to join us. Space is limited so register early. Cost $30.00 for CPR and $10.00 for first aid. Call Jean at 376-7739 for details. Register at the Recreation center at 1201 N Mustang Road or 376-3411.
Mother and Daughter Brunch

Mother's day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate the occasion than join us for the inaugural Mother & Daughter Brunch. The morning will be filled with fun activities, food, entertainment, style show, and more. Photo opportunities will be provided. We encourage you to invite that special "mom or daughter" in your life whether it be your daughter, mother, sister, aunt or friend. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 12 to 6. Purchase tickets at Recreation Center by May 1st.

Summer Fun & Safety Fair

Jump into the fun at Wild Horse Park with tons of activities for fun and safety. Including " Touch a Truck" where children can se, touch and explore their favorite trucks and equipment, Fishing Derby, food booths, carnival games, contest and entertainment. Free Admission to Fair. Some activities may have a small fee.
