Mustang Economic Development Authority (MEDA)
Duties
The Mustang Economic Development Authority (MEDA) was formed in 1982 to facilitate funding for an industrial project in the City of Mustang from the Oklahoma Industrial Financing Authority. The Trust that created the authority charges the board with promoting the development of industrial, cultural and educational activities in the city. The scope of activity permitted in the MEDA Trust is broad and comprehensive.
Membership
The MEDA board is comprised of five members, all of whom are appointed by the Mustang City Council. All must be residents of the City of Mustang. One member is appointed from the membership of the City Council. Members hold office for terms of five years.

Meetings
The Mustang Economic Development Authority typically meets on a quarterly basis, on the third Monday of each quarter at 6:30 p.m. local time in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1501 N. Mustang Road.
