The Mustang Town Center is NOT a “Tornado” shelter.

The Town Center is conveniently located near the center of the city, inside Wild Horse Park. Because of the Town Centers location, no citizen should have to travel any further than 3 1/2 miles to get to the shelter.

The Town Center will be the primary shelter in all emergencies, unless the emergency makes the Town Center unavailable. If this is the case a secondary shelter will be announced and the best driving routes to that shelter will be announced.

Driving Directions To The Mustang Town Center:

The Town Center is located on the west side of N. Mustang Road approximately 3/4 mile North of State Highway 152.

The Town Center can be reached by traveling State Hwy 152 to Mustang Road and turning North, or by traveling SW 59th Street to Mustang Road and turning South. There is also an entrance into the Town Center located just West of Mustang Road on SW 59th Street.
