Non-Solicitation List (No Knock List)
The Mustang City Council approved and adopted Ordinance No. 1135 on December 15, 2015.
Ordinance No. 1135 allows citizens of Mustang to add their names to a Non-Solicitation or "No Knock List" prohibiting vendors from soliciting business or sales of items at their homes. If a citizen wishes to be added to this list, they must complete this form online or at City Hall. Ordinance No. 1135 goes into effect on February 1, 2016.
How it works:
Licensed vendors will be provided a list of addresses contained upon the "No Knock List" when picking up their solicitation permit. No other information (name, phone, email address) will be provided. If a licensed vendor solicits business at a property contained on the "No Knock List", the vendor faces possible revocation of their license in the City of Mustang and could be prohibited from door-to-door solicitation in the City of Mustang.
Please note the “No Knock” list would not be applicable to non-profit groups (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, School Fundraisers, etc).
A confirmation email will be sent to you following your registration.
***If you experience a solicitor at your residence after registering on the "No Knock" list, please contact the Police non-emergency line at (405) 376-2488 and they will be investigated and receive a possible citation for violating the ordinance.***
