Customers may request a maximum of two (2) items at a time through ILL. Any fees, outside of postage to and from, must be paid by the customer before the request is submitted.

If a customer loses or damages an ILL item, he/she will be charged for any replacement and processing fees levied by the lending institution. If a customer returns an ILL item late he/she will be charged overdue fines set by the Mustang Public Library Board of Trustees (refer to page 9).

Customers who fail to pick up or to notify library staff that they no longer need an ILL item will be charged for returning postage costs. Customers must notify library staff within three days of submitting an interlibrary loan request form that they no longer need the ILL items. Postage charges must be paid before any future requests will be processed.

Quiet Study Room Information

The Mustang Public Library has three quiet study rooms that may be used for individual or small group study.  The room may be used for quiet discussion but sound levels cannot disturb customers in other areas of the Library.

Individuals thirteen years old and older are eligible to use the room.  Children under the age of thirteen may use the room with adult supervision.

Individuals must check in at the Circulation Desk to have a staff member unlock the door.

Individuals are responsible for leaving the room in a neat condition.  All books must be returned to the Circulation Desk and all trash must be removed.

Use of the study room is limited to a maximum of two hours per day per group.

The study room is available until fifteen minutes before the Library closes.

The study room is available on a first-come, first serve basis.

Food, alcohol and tobacco products, including vapor products, are prohibited.  Drinks must have a lid or cap. (Please refer to the Food, Drink and Tobacco Policy.)

A maximum of six people are allowed at one time in the Quiet Study Room.

The Quiet Study Room is not soundproof so noise is to be kept to a minimum.  Complaints reported by other library users about excessive noise may result in individuals being asked to vacate the study room.

Misuse of the Quiet Study Room will result in the library customer(s) being asked to leave the study room and the denial of future use.
