The City of Mustang provides a " Spotlight Employee" each month so that citizens can learn more about the public servants that contribute to our City running smoothly. The Spotlight Employee will feature answers to a series of questions about the selected employee, the department and position they serve in, and unique likes and interests of the employee.
The September 2025 Employee Spotlight is Police Officer Jazreale Wright.
How long have you worked for the City of Mustang? 2 years and 8 months..
Where were you born? (Hospital is not a permitted answer) I was born in Oklahoma City but I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Where do you live and how long have you lived there? Technically I live in Oklahoma City but have a Yukon address and am in Mustang School District so I have the trifecta...lol.
Are you married? Do you have any children? Single with three wonderfully crazy dogs and two cats.
What do you enjoy the most about working for the City of Mustang? The interaction with the community, passing out stickers to children, and being thanked for helping in a time of need.
What project have you been a part of while employed by the City of Mustang that you enjoyed the most? I am part of the bike team currently and looking forward to being a part of many more teams..
Favorite Food? Depending on who asks...it could be Ice Cream, Vietnamese Egg Rolls, or Pho.
Favorite Recording Artist? Whoever sounds the best at the moment. Mostly I enjoy pop music.
Do you have a secret skill or talent? I have won many baking awards.
What is your proudest moment in life? Serving my country in the military and now being able to serve my community. Both included moments of training that were mentally challenging and I'm happy I successfully passed both challenges!
