During the busy end of the year and the start of a new one, there are many holiday closures. All the information as to what is closed, what is open, and what day you need to have the trash at the curb is outlined below by date.
Tuesday, November 11, 2025 - Veterans Day - All City Administrative Offices - including the Library and Active Adult Center - will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. The Recreation Center will run as normally scheduled. Refuse services will run as normally scheduled so be sure to have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM.
Wednesday, November 26, 2025 - Day Before Thanksgiving - All City facilities will be closing at 3 PM.
Thursday, November 27, 2025 - Thanksgiving Holiday - All City Facilities will be closed on Thanksgiving. For residential customers that normally have refuse service on a Thursday, your service is moved to Saturday, November 29, 2024 so be sure to have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM. For commercial refuse customers, your service is moved to Friday, November 28, 2025.
Friday, November 28, 2025 - Day After Thanksgiving - All City Administrative Offices - including the Library and Active Adult Center - will be closed on Friday, November 28, 2025. The Recreation Center will open at Noon. All refuse services will run as normally scheduled so have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM.
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 - Christmas Eve - All City Facilities will be closed.
Thursday, December 25, 2025 - Christmas Day - All City Facilities will be closed on Christmas. For residential customers that normally have refuse service on a Thursday, your service is moved to Saturday, December 27, 2025. Commercial refuse is moved to Friday, December 26, 2025.
Wednesday, December 31, 2025 - New Year's Eve - All City Facilities will close at 3:00 PM.
Thursday, January 1, 2026 - New Year's Day - All City Facilities will be closed. Refuse services will operate as normally scheduled so be sure to have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM..
Monday, January 19, 2026 - Martin Luther King Day - All City Administrative Offices - including the Library and Active Adult Center - will be closed. The Recreation Center will operate as normally scheduled. Refuse services will operate as normally scheduled so be sure to have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM.
