The City of Mustang provides a " Spotlight Employee" each month so that citizens can learn more about the public servants that contribute to our City running smoothly. The Spotlight Employee will feature answers to a series of questions about the selected employee, the department and position they serve in, and unique likes and interests of the employee.

How long have you worked for the City of Mustang? Almost 11 and half years.
Where were you born? (Hospital is not a permitted answer) Aurora, Colorado.
Where do you live and how long have you lived there? We moved out to a little piece of land in Blanchard about a year and a half ago.
Are you married? Do you have any children? I've been married to my beautiful wife, Lindsay, for a little over 2 years, and I was lucky enough to inherit the best daughter anyone could ask for!.
What do you enjoy the most about working for the City of Mustang? I most enjoy the problem-solving aspect of our job. You never really know what you're gonna do when you come into work!
What project have you most enjoyed being a part of while working for the City of Mustang? Being a part of the Ladder 1 build committee! I also enjoy our contract negotiations with the City.
Favorite Food? That's a toss up between my Mom's chicken enchilada recipe and a ribeye with chimichurri!
Favorite Recording Artist? I enjoy most genres of music, yet don't have a favorite. A few good artists that come to mind - Colter Wall, Post Malone, Jack Harlow, Chris Stapleton. .
Do you have a secret skill or talent? All the skills and talent that I possess are no secret, ha!
You have worked for the City of Mustang for more than a decade. What changes have you witnessed in our community during that time? What hasn't changed? At the Fire Department, we've seen some big changes: the transition from a combination department to a career, upgraded technology and equipment, and a change in leadership style.
