The City of Mustang asks that you use the following recommendations to help us preserve and protect our sanitary sewage system and our environment;
- When cooking, collect left over fats, oils and grease into a metal can, freeze the can and dispose of the grease with your garbage
- Dispose of grease, razor blades, condoms, plastics, syringe needles, personal hygiene products, pharmaceutical products, cigarette butts and all other non-biodegradable products in your garbage.
- Use our complimentary Hazardous Household Waste disposal facilities to properly dispose of; paint, engine oil, pesticides, insecticides, pool chemicals, solvents, cleaning products and flammables. disposal
- Dispose of “wet wipes” or other so-called "flushable towelettes" in the garbage to prevent damage our sewage conveyance and treatment systems.
If it is not biodegradable, please do not place in our sanitary sewage system!
