The City of Mustang will be providing an "Employee Spotlight" each month so that citizens can learn more about the public servants that contribute to our City running smoothly. The Employee Spotlight will feature answers to a series of questions about the selected employee, the department and position they serve in, and unique likes and interests of the employee. How long have you worked for the City of Mustang? I have worked for the City of Mustang a little more than 15 years.
Where were you born? (Hospital is not a permitted answer) Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, New Mexico
How long have you lived in Mustang? 34 years.
Are you married? If so, for how long? Children? Yes, I have been married 28 years and have four children ages 18, 20, and two that are 22.
What do you enjoy the most about working for the City of Mustang? The people I get to work with daily.
What project have you been a part of while employed by the City of Mustang that you enjoyed the most? I enjoyed being a part of the volunteer team that built some of the equipment at Brittany’s Playground.
Favorite Food? Brisket, Chocolate Chip Cookies…or whatever my wife makes. 😊

Do you have a secret skill or talent? I can strum a few chords on the ole guitar.
You are responsible for staging the items needed for so many of the events that are conducted within Town Center each year. Is there any one singular event that you enjoy the most participating in and why? It’s really difficult to choose. I just enjoy doing my part to ensure our patrons have a positive experience.
