Ben Trujillo has volunteered as a reserve police officer for over 25 years. Ben began his journey in Law Enforcement in Eastern Oklahoma County in 2000 when he joined the Nicoma Park Police Department, where he served in the reserve capacity until 2020. During his time with Nicoma Park, Ben also served for the Harrah Police Department from 2006 to 2009. In April of 2020 Ben joined the Mustang Police Department as a recruit reserve patrol officer. Over the past five years, Ben completed his field training, worked various shifts in our Patrol Division and weekly serves as security for our Municipal Court.
Ben has sacrificially volunteered his personal time to not only the department, but to the Mustang community as a whole. Ben Trujillo has successfully met the requirements, and is very deserving of and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant at a ceremony this afternoon.
Ben’s long-standing commitment to sacrifice his time to serve others is a shining example of true public service. Congratulations Sergeant Trujillo!
