🚧ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – S. CLEAR SPRINGS RD. BETWEEN SW 89TH & SH-152 🚧
As the rain moves out, crews will begin repaving S. Clear Springs Rd. between SW 89th St. and SH-152 tomorrow, Friday, October 16, 2026...want a drought to end? Schedule a road project.
🚫 The road will be closed to through traffic, but access will remain available for local residents and businesses.
Motorists should expect one-lane operations with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. Delays are anticipated, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible.
Crews plan to work Saturday in an effort to take advantage of Fall Break and minimize disruptions. Construction is expected to be completed next week, weather permitting.

At last week's regular meeting of the Mustang City Council, Mayor Michael Ray presented a proclamation declaring October as "Breast Cancer Awareness" month in the City of Mustang. The proclamation was presented to his sister, Misty Rhea, in remembrance of their mother and in support of all those battling Breast Cancer and those that have won.

Just a reminder that "Coffee with the Mayor" is taking a holiday!
Because the first Monday in September is Labor Day, Coffee with Mayor Michael Ray will take the month off on September 7, 2026.

All City Offices - including all of Town Center - will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026 in honor of the Labor Day holiday. The Mustang Aquatics Center will be open for its final day of the season from 1 PM to 6 PM.
Refuse and recycle routes will operate as normally scheduled on Labor Day, so please have your polycarts to the curb by 7:00 AM.

The Mustang Public Library recently applied for and received an LSTA-funded technology grant for the purchase and installation of 2 new benches - one immediately outside of the west entrance to the Library and Town Center, while the other is located near Brittany's Play Adventure Playground.
What makes the benches unique is they are solar-powered, allowing for free charging of smart devices. The project supports digital equity by providing a barrier-free environment for residents to engage with digital resources, fostering creativity and community connectivity in an eco-friendly manner.
