Sales Tax Extension Information
On August 23 an election to extend the existing 1% sales tax will be held for Mustang residents. A series of public meetings have been scheduled for the purpose of providing information regarding the sales tax extension. The meeting schedule and times are outlined below and have been placed on the City of Mustang community calendar. All meetings will be held in the community room at the Mustang Public Library.

At the meetings, a power point presentation will be reviewed regarding the upcoming sales tax election. Attendees will be provided with information regarding the requested continuance of the one cent sales tax, the projects previously funded with the sales tax, and those projects identified to be funded with the continuance of it. At the conclusion of the meeting, staff will answer questions regarding the presentation.
