On Thursday, January 22nd from 10 to 11:30 (Come and Go) the public is invited to come register for the SAID Program with the Fire Department. SAID stands for Special Needs, Alerts, and Identification. The Fire Department will be at the Active Adult Center registering anyone who feels like they might need special assistance at their home should the need arise for the fire department to come to their residence. Such issues could be mobility issues, a spouse with dementia, limited mobility, hearing impaired (might not be able to hear a smoke alarm), or any issues they feel the fire department might need to know about. This will help them in rescue and response efforts, saving time in assessing the situation at your home when they arrive on the scene in the case of an emergency.
This is a free event and open to the public. For additional information call 405-376-1297 or email apatten@cityofmustang.org
