The Mustang Public Library recently applied for and received an LSTA-funded technology grant for the purchase and installation of 2 new benches - one immediately outside of the west entrance to the Library and Town Center, while the other is located near Brittany's Play Adventure Playground.
What makes the benches unique is they are solar-powered, allowing for free charging of smart devices. The project supports digital equity by providing a barrier-free environment for residents to engage with digital resources, fostering creativity and community connectivity in an eco-friendly manner.

The City of Mustang Utility Billing Department has identified a billing error affecting customers in Zone 1, in which bills reflecting a previous calendar year were mailed in error. The City has corrected the issue, and updated, accurate bills will be mailed to affected customers this week.
Who is affected: This error only affects Zone 1 customers who receive a paper bill by mail. Zone 1 customers have account numbers that begin with 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22 or 50. Customers enrolled in digital billing who pay through the online customer portal are not affected — the portal has reflected the correct current billing cycle throughout and requires no action.
What Zone 1 customers should do:
• Zone 1 customers who receive mailed bills should disregard the incorrect bill previously received and wait for the corrected statement arriving this week.
• Customers with questions about their account balance or due date may contact Utility Billing directly.
The City of Mustang apologizes for any confusion this error may have caused and appreciates customers' patience while the correction was processed.
