The City Council of the City of Mustang adopted new building codes in late 2022. These new building codes now require developers, builders, and contractors to submit and follow the new codes on projects moving forward. The following versions of the adopted codes are:
- 2018 International Fuel Gas Code - Ordinance 1263
- 2018 International Building Code - Ordinance 1264
- 2018 International Fire Code - Ordinance 1265
- 2018 International Mechanical Code - Ordinance 1266
- 2020 National Electrical Code - Ordinance 1267
- 2018 International Plumbing Code - Ordinance 1268
- 2020 International Residential Code - Ordinance 1269
