At last night's City Council meeting, tokens of appreciation were presented to Troy and Brandi Schweinberg, formerly of Metro Signs, for the donation of the large digital sign in front of Fire Station 1. The sign, valued at over $45,000, is used daily to provide time, temp, and messages to the Mustang community daily. Pictured are both Troy and Brandi, along with Chief Craig Carruth and Mayor Grider.

United Way of Canadian County presented the City of Mustang Employees with the Bronze Award at their Campaign Celebration on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The Bronze Award is presented for achieving a per capita of giving between $25 - $49.

Beginning Thursday, January 25, 2024, the Emergency Signal in front of Fire Station #2 will be operational. Although this signal will only be activated when the Fire Department exits the station for an emergency, we ask that you be mindful of its operation. When it comes to any emergency every second is critical. This signal will help our firefighters shave critical seconds from every response.

Mayor Grider presented the Martins with a Fire Axe signed by all members of the department, as well as a plaque that declares the Martins as Honorary Fire Fighters.
