Every Sunday in September at 2pm, get ready to sculpt your body and boost your fitness with this dynamic strength training class. You'll be moving to the beat of some awesome music, making your workout feel more like a dance party than a chore! Our expert instructor, Megan will lead you through a choreographed routine designed to challenge your muscles and get your heart pumping.

Don't forget to bring your yoga mat for the core work component at the end of class!

No registration required, just show up! This class is already included with your membership, making it easy to jump right in and start feeling the burn.

On Tuesday, August 19, adults are invited to a free bracelet making class. This will be a come and go event from 9:00-11:00 AM. Participants will learn to braid and knot embroidery thread to create a bracelet. Beginners are welcome, or if you came to the last class come learn a new pattern and build your skills! Ben Trujillo has volunteered as a reserve police officer for over 25 years. Ben began his journey in Law Enforcement in Eastern Oklahoma County in 2000 when he joined the Nicoma Park Police Department, where he served in the reserve capacity until 2020. During his time with Nicoma Park, Ben also served for the Harrah Police Department from 2006 to 2009. In April of 2020 Ben joined the Mustang Police Department as a recruit reserve patrol officer. Over the past five years, Ben completed his field training, worked various shifts in our Patrol Division and weekly serves as security for our Municipal Court. Ben has sacrificially volunteered his personal time to not only the department, but to the Mustang community as a whole. Ben Trujillo has successfully met the requirements, and is very deserving of and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant at a ceremony this afternoon. Ben’s long-standing commitment to sacrifice his time to serve others is a shining example of true public service. Congratulations Sergeant Trujillo!

We get it...you're stressed and can't wait for school to start. Our water system is stressed too as we get later into summer and the temps soar. Please conserve water this weekend by making the water you use go farther. Water early in the morning - before 8 AM or late in the evening - after sunset. And remember - odd/even water restrictions are always in effect. Avoid unnecessary use and waste always.

Community groups, local businesses, and civic-minded residents are invited to take pride in keeping our streets clean and welcoming. Participants can adopt a one-mile section of street (highways excluded), commit to regular litter pickups, and assist in beautifying our community—all while promoting civic stewardship. The Mustang Fire Department is taking orders for their October Breast Cancer Awareness shirts. You can order shirts through September 17, 2025 by clicking on the link provided below. The Cost of the shirts - available in both adult and youth unisex sizes - are $20 each. All proceeds benefit Premier Breast Health Institute which provides free mammograms. This will be the third year the proceeds have benefitted them.

All ordered shirts will be available for pick up at Okie Print Barn on or about October 1, 2025, or they can also be shipped for a fee. . Any questions regarding the shirts and ordering should be directed to the Fire Department Facebook page.
