Great news! Water is back in the pool and summer is a go again in Mustang! Swim lessons begin tomorrow morning and open swim begins at 11:30 AM.

At last night's City Council meeting, Mr. Paiton Beck was sworn in as Mustang's newest Police Officer by Chief Wallace.

At last night's City Council meeting, a check was presented to representatives of Warriors for Freedom for the amount of $19,000 as a result of a ball tournament hosted by the Mustang Parks and Recreation and Mustang Youth Sports on Memorial Day weekend.

There is a water main break just east of S. Mustang Road, east of the high school. Residents along S. Jones, S. Lewis, E. Dolton, E. Juniper, E. Perry, E. Forster, E. Dowden, and E. Carson may experience little or no water pressure. Crews are on the scene and working on the repair. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This afternoon, the City of Mustang said "see you later" to one of its finest officers - Lt. Mark Bailey - as he retires from the Mustang Police Department after 27 years of service to our community. Lt. Bailey was surrounded by and received many hugs and well wishes from his peers and family at a reception at the Police Department.




For those unaware, there is a large water main break on Aqua Clear. Crews are on the scene, however the break is a difficult repair. There is no time estimate on the repair at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience..


Unfortunately, the Aquatic Center will be CLOSED for the next few days for mechanical repairs in hopes to be repaired in time for swimming lessons. Please watch Facebook for updates. We apologize for any inconvenience.

All City Offices - including all of Town Center - will be closed tomorrow, May 27, 2024 in observance of Memorial Day. The Mustang Aquatics Center will be open from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Refuse services will operate as normally scheduled, so Monday customers should have their polycarts to the curb by 7:00 AM.


The Aquatics Center opens tomorrow at 11:30 AM. The water is a refreshing 74° and we hope to see you this holiday weekend!

On Friday, May 17, 2024, Paiton Beck graduated from the Basic Police Officer Certification academy at Metro Tech in OKC. Paiton also was awarded the top Firearms student of the class . Pictured congratulating Paiton is Mustang Police Chief Mike Wallace.

Early this afternoon, we said goodbye to Lt. Lance Duncan upon retiring from the City of Mustang after 20+ years of public service. In addition to his service to the City, Lt. Duncan is also a Veteran having served our Nation in the US Army. Lt. Duncan requested a small gathering of his peers and family and we honored his service by respecting that request.
We wish Lance a happy and healthy well earned retirement. He will be missed.


SW 89th Street Construction Begins later today. This is the first step to a signalized new intersection at Highway 4 and SW 89th Street. While closed, all traffic will need to access SW 89th Street via Mustang Road.
