The City of Mustang recently improved one of the prominent displays in Veterans Park, just off of SW 59th Street within Wild Horse Park. The airplane, an F86-L jet which was added to the park back in 1998, was in need of a facelift. The goal was to have the aircraft painted prior to Veterans Day of this year to truly honor all of the Veterans in our community, particularly those of the United States Air Force. We have included many of the before and after pictures for you and think you will agree that this was a much needed improvement.
