
The Aquatics Center opens tomorrow at 11:30 AM. The water is a refreshing 74° and we hope to see you this holiday weekend!


All City Offices - including all of Town Center - will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024 in observance of Memorial Day. The Mustang Aquatics Center will be open from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Refuse services will operate as normally scheduled, so Monday customers should have their polycarts to the curb by 7:00 AM.

Early this afternoon, we said goodbye to Lt. Lance Duncan upon retiring from the City of Mustang after 20+ years of public service. In addition to his service to the City, Lt. Duncan is also a Veteran having served our Nation in the US Army. Lt. Duncan requested a small gathering of his peers and family and we honored his service by respecting that request.
We wish Lance a happy and healthy well earned retirement. He will be missed.

Welcome to Staff Saturdays! Get to know our staff each Saturday. Today, we are featuring Amanda! Amanda has worked for the library for 2 1/2 years at our circulation desk! She loves all of Sarah J Maas' universe, The Madadam series by Margret Atwood, the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, and Atomic Habits by James Clear. Amanda loves reading, crafting, and crocheting! Last year she made a blanket that won 2nd place in the County Fair! Her favorite place on earth is her home with her best friend and husband of 20 years, her two kids, and three dogs. Amanda's favorite snack is Nerd Ropes and likes to drink water. Her favorite things about working at the library are greeting people when they come in and when the littles stop to chat with her.!



Join our Teen Leadership Council is participating in the Great American Clean Up! They will be picking up trash all around Wild Horse Park! Meet us at 2 p.m. this Saturday at the book drop on the south side of the Town Center!

This afternoon, the City of Mustang said goodbye to our Police Chief of nearly 9 years - Mr. Rob Groseclose - at a retirement reception at Town Center. The reception was well attended with lots of laughs, hugs, and well wishes. You made a difference and will be missed!


The City of Mustang Police Department and Mustang American Legion participated in a Peace Officers Memorial Day ceremony this morning at 8:00 AM. This event honors all fallen officers of the past. Several members of the public also attended the ceremony.

Some of her favorite books are Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, and anything by John Grisham. Kathi enjoys hiking with her husband, reading, bike riding, and loves the beach. She started taking dance lessons when she was 3 years old, and now she and her husband take tango lessons together! Her favorite snack is On The Border tortilla chips and her favorite drinks are coffee and unsweetened tea. Kathi loves talking to patrons, so stop by the front desk and say hi!

At last night's City Council meeting, recently re-elected Mayor Brian Grider, Vice Mayor Michael Ray, and Ward 3 Councilman JamesWald all received their respective oaths of office as members of the City Council.
