On Wednesday morning, the Ward 5 Council vacancy was filled when Ms. Kayla Balliew was sworn into office at the next member of the Mustang City Council. Councilwoman Balliew is also a teacher at Riverwood Elementary School.

Mark your calendars! Set your alarms! Summer Camp Registration opens up on March 3rd at 9 am. There is a $50 Non-Refundable registration fee with each week of camp costing only $125 per week. Please have the weeks of summer camp you will need ready. Camp begins on June 2 through August 1 with no summer camp June 30 through July 4.
Registration will fill up FAST and space is limited! Register at https://secure.rec1.com/OK/Mustang-OK/catalog and you can create an account if needed to make the registration process smoother.
Join us all month long in March as we have another fitness class attendance challenge! Starting Monday, March 3rd, every time you attend a fitness class here at the rec center (any class no matter the location), you can enter to win prizes! There will be a box located in the fitness room to drop your name into each time you take a class. Every Friday, we will give away prizes. If you win a prize you will be contacted to pick up your prize at the Parks and Rec. desk. You do not need to be present to win and winners are also announced on our Fitness Facebook page. (Mustang Parks & Rec Fitness Members Only). Anyone eligible to attend a fitness class is eligible to enter. It is free to enter. Competition will end on Friday, March 28th at 11 am. Entries stay in the box all month long except the weekly winners. You do not need to register for this event.
