The City of Mustang has recently implemented a new "Adopt-A- Street" program in Mustang. Community groups, local businesses, and civic-minded residents are invited to take pride in keeping our streets clean and welcoming. Participants can adopt a one-mile section of street (highways excluded), commit to regular litter pickups, and assist in beautifying our community—all while promoting civic stewardship. The City of Mustang has experienced a water main break from the well field supply. Crews are on-site and working on repairing the break. While this break will not impact water service to any residents or businesses, out of an abundance of caution, we are asking the community to conserve water as much as possible. Rainfall has helped support conservation efforts, and the city’s water towers currently hold a sufficient supply. However, given the increased risk of fire calls on the Fourth of July—which may require large amounts of water—we ask for your continued cooperation in reducing non-essential water use throughout the day. Thank you for helping us keep Mustang safe and prepared.
