Water service has been restored on W. Rose Oak Drive.

The water along W. Rose Oak Drive has been shut off to repair a leak on the line. Crews are on-site and will restore service as quickly as possible.

This afternoon, a promotion ceremony was conducted for four Mustang Police Officers.
Beginning at the top left and moving clockwise, Officer Maurice Hawkins was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, while Sergeants Seth Roecker, Cody McDaniel and Derek Hunt were all promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
Congratulations gentlemen!


Pack the Park on July 19, 2024 - This FREE event will have Food Trucks, a Side Walk Chalk Contest, Inflatables and a Movie featuring Lilo and Stitch. Food trucks include Wild Bill’s, Came’s Tacos Y Mas and Happy Camper begin serving at 6 PM and the Movie in the Park begins at dusk.


Voluntary water conservation in our community has been lifted. We greatly appreciate all efforts and cooperation in reducing water usage. Your commitment has made a significant impact. Although the voluntary measures are no longer in effect, we encourage everyone to continue practicing water-saving habits to ensure a sustainable water supply for the future. We would like to thank those groups (and several volunteers) that showed up earlier today to pickup fireworks debris in Wild Horse Park.






Six years ago the City of Mustang began requiring the groups that are afforded the opportunity to raise funds by selling fireworks to also be involved in the monumental task of clean-up on July 5th. All City offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in observance of Independence Day.. Refuse services will run as normally scheduled so be sure to have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM.


For any Veterans that may have sensitivity to the noise that accompanies fireworks, don't forget to stop by City Hall and get your yard sign so that your neighbors are aware can be respectful during holiday celebrations.

The City of Mustang has been notified by OEMA that Monday's trash service is running behind. If you are scheduled for a Monday pick-up and have yet to be serviced, please leave your poly-cart at the curb, as trucks are still out collecting. OEMA expects to be completed by 7:30 p.m.

Join the Mustang Fire Department this evening for the 55th Firefighters Freedom Celebration!. The celebration starts at 6:30 pm with fireworks at dusk. The location is Wild Horse Park at 1201 N Mustang Rd. This event is FREE and there will be fire trucks, food trucks, a live DJ, the Fire Department's annual raffle, and much more family fun activities.
NOTE: The public is not permitted to discharge fireworks in Wild Horse Park tonight.


The discharge of consumer fireworks is permitted only between the hours of 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM for the period of June 27, 2024 through July 4, 2024 with the exception of July 4, 2024 when the hours shall be 9:00 AM through 11:00 PM. NOTE: Fireworks are not permitted on June 29, 2024 anywhere in Wild Horse Park.
