Crews have started construction on the SW 89th St. Overlay Project. Motorists should expect traffic impacts along SW 89th between Mustang Road and Czech Hall Road, including intermittent lane closures and delays at intersections and approaches throughout the project. Construction is anticipated to continue through the end of July. Drivers are encouraged to plan for extra travel time, use caution in the work zone, and consider alternate routes whenever possible. We appreciate your patience as crews work to complete the rehabilitation of SW 89th St. between Mustang Rd. and Czech Hall Rd.

Thanks to all the groups that sold fireworks in Mustang, as well as several volunteers, that showed up and showed out this morning at Wild Horse Park to pick up fireworks debris.
These groups and volunteers, along with the street sweeper that will be moving through the paved areas of Town Center and Wild Horse Park a bit later today (the cost of which is covered by Fireworks City) help return and restore the beauty of our most popular attraction.

All City Administrative Offices - including the Library - will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The Recreation Center will be open its normally scheduled operating hours, as will the Aquatics Center. Refuse service will also operate as normally scheduled, so please have your polycarts to the curb no later than 7:00 AM.

Update 2:40 p.m.: Service to the area has been restored. A contractor has hit a water main south of State Highway 152, just east of S. Mustang Road. Residents in that area may experience low or no water pressure. This includes E. Perry Lane, E. Forster Lane, E. Juniper Lane, and surrounding areas. Crews are on the scene, and repairs are underway. Thanks for your patience as they work to restore service as quickly as possible.
