
Since it is the first official day of Fall, we thought we would post this gentle reminder before we start receiving the annual question: Trick or Treat night in Mustang is ALWAYS on Halloween - This year that is Tuesday, October 31, 2023 - 6:30 to 8:30 PM.


If your normal trash day is Tuesday, then tomorrow (9/23) is your Fall Clean-Up day and your items should be curbside no later than 7 AM. For all the rules, click on the link.

On September 18, 1947, Chief Justice Fred Vinson swore in Stuart Symington as the first secretary of the air force, officially founding a new branch of the U.S. military.


Tonight, Friday September 15th is Food Truck Friday featuring Movie in the Park - Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves. Food Trucks will begin to serve at 6 pm, so come grab dinner and then stick around and set up your lawn chairs on the front lawn to enjoy the movie.

At Tuesday evening's City Council meeting, a proclamation was presented declaring September as Suicide Prevention and Recovery Month in Mustang. The proclamation was presented to Ms. Megan Cannon, from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health.


It's Employee Appreciation Week for the City of Mustang! Today, each department received enormous Chocolate Chip Cookie Cakes from Grandma Doug's Bakery to provide a slight sugar rush to make it through a gloomy Tuesday.

Tonight the Aquatic Center will be hosting the Annual Late Night Swim from 6 to 11 PM. Admission is $6 per person, free for children under three and season pass holders. Everyone receives one FREE snow cone and glow bracelets/necklaces will be available.

Today is City Hall Selfie Day, and it is a worldwide celebration of local government service and showcases pride in local government institutions. Local government employees, elected officials, media, and community members are invited to participate.
