All City offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in observance of Independence Day.. Refuse services will run as normally scheduled so be sure to have your polycart to the curb by 7:00 AM.


Mustang Public Library will be closing early tomorrow at 3 pm for the Firefighters Freedom Festival.


The discharge of consumer fireworks is permitted only between the hours of 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM for the period of June 27, 2024 through July 4, 2024 with the exception of July 4, 2024 when the hours shall be 9:00 AM through 11:00 PM. NOTE: Fireworks are not permitted on June 29, 2024 anywhere in Wild Horse Park.
Please be respectful if you enjoy this freedom...clean up your trash and obey the hours above.

The 55th Firefighters Freedom Celebration will be held on June 29, 2024. The celebration starts at 6:30 pm with fireworks at dusk. The location is Wild Horse Park at 1201 N Mustang Rd. This event is FREE to get into. There will be fire trucks, food trucks, a live DJ, the fire department's annual raffle, and much more family fun activities. Please come and join us for all the fun.
Note: The public is not permitted to discharge fireworks in Wild Horse Park on June 29, 2024.


At a ceremony earlier this afternoon, Lt. William Carpenter was officially promoted to Deputy Chief of the Mustang Police Department. Pictured with Deputy Chief Carpenter is his wife Whitney and Police Chief Michael Wallace. Congratulations!


All City Administrative Offices - including the Library - will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. The Recreation Center will operate as normally scheduled, as will the Mustang Aquatics Center.

Great news! Water is back in the pool and summer is a go again in Mustang! Swim lessons begin tomorrow morning and open swim begins at 11:30 AM.
