At Tuesday evening's regular meeting, Mr. Billy Reddick was sworn in as the newest member of the Mustang City Council. Councilman Reddick will represent Ward 1 and has been a resident of that ward for more than 23 years. Councilman Reddick believes that local government works best when it reflects the voices, needs, and values of its people. He views his role as a Councilor as an opportunity to serve, to work alongside other Council members, city leaders, and community members to address challenges, celebrate successes, and create opportunities for growth of our mustang community.
Pictured receiving the oath of office from Vice Mayor Sholund is Councilman Reddick, as well as a picture of Councilman Reddick's family.

At the Oklahoma Public Safety Conference last evening in Tulsa, Mustang Telecommunicator Katie Matthis was recognized as the 2025 Telecommunicator of the Year! Katie has been employed with the City of Mustang for more than 13 years. Her dedication to her position responsibilities and the accompanied accuracy of her communication during times of crisis all played a role in her selection to receive this honor. Congratulations Katie...we couldn't be more proud and honored that you are part of our team!

This memorial bench has been placed in honor of Beverly Joyce Vokoun. It will stand as a place of rest, reflection, and remembrance for everyone who visits the park. We are thankful for the generosity that made this lasting tribute possible.
If you’re interested in dedicating a memorial bench in memory of someone special, please contact Carol Lyman at clyman@cityofmustang.org.
