Make your Holiday season a great one by avoiding brown Friday. Fats, Oils, and Grease are a costly problem for municipalities everywhere, including in Mustang. Improper disposal of FOG can clog our sewer systems, leading to expensive repairs and higher operating costs. Over time, this impacts all of us by driving up utility bills. This holiday season, you can make a difference. Help us protect our sewer system by properly disposing of FOG:
• Pour cooled grease into a container, seal it, and throw it in the trash.
• Scrape food scraps into the trash, not the sink.
• Use strainers in your sink to catch food particles.
Together, we can keep our utility costs down and our sewer system running smoothly. Thank you for doing your part!

Do you recognize this individual or their car? This person dumped a dog at the Dog Park at approximately 7:50 AM this morning, the third dog dumped within the last week. There are numbers posted at the Animal Welfare Center to call if one can no longer keep an animal in order to prevent dumping like this.
This is a criminal act and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Please contact the non-emergency number at the Mustang Police Department if you have any information - 376-2488. Please share.

According to the Department of Transportation, during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend of 2022, there were 326 passenger vehicle occupants killed in traffic crashes across the nation, and 43% of those were unrestrained. Choosing not to wear your seatbelt can be deadly.
Please buckle-up and stay safe this holiday season.
