
At last night's City Council meeting, Mustang Aquatics Center Lifeguards were recognized by the leadership the Aquatics Center, and Parks and Recreation as well as the City Council for their performance in their duties as Lifeguards - specifically Rescue.
These are the people that make the Aquatics Center safe for all of its visitors and each one of them go through extensive training to do it. If you should happen to visit the Aquatics Center before the end of the season, please take the time to thank a Lifeguard for being the Angels in the Water.

Silver Star Construction will replace some concrete panels along N. Bittercreek Terrace from July 29th through August 2nd. The roadway will remain open, but small areas will be narrowed to one lane. Please use caution when driving through construction zones.

Work on Southwest 89th at Highway 4 continues. The contractor is pouring concrete this week. Weather permitting, the west side of Southwest 89th will be open prior to school beginning on August 13th. The east side of the intersection has been delayed due to a conflict with existing utilities and will open in late August.


Water service has been restored along N. Chris Terrace, E. Frontier Terrace, E. Brooke Terrace, E. Joyce Terrace, E. Karen Terrace, N. Andy Terrace and N. Ross Terrace.

The water along N. Chris Terrace, E. Frontier Terrace, E. Brooke Terrace, E. Joyce Terrace, E. Karen Terrace, N. Andy Terrace and N. Ross Terrace has been shut off to repair a leak in the line. Crews are on-site and will restore service as quickly as possible.

A contractor is working on a waterline leak on N. Chris Terrace. The road has been closed to through traffic, but residents living along N. Chris Terrace will still have access to their homes.

This afternoon at their Annual Convention, Mustang Fire Department Lieutenant Levi Setliff was recognized as the Firefighter of the Year for 2024 by the American Legion Department of Oklahoma.

On Tuesday afternoon, a retirement reception was held for Ms. Lisa Martin, City Clerk, after 11+years of service to the City of Mustang. A large gathering of people attended to wish her well for a relaxing future.

Water service has been restored on W. Rose Oak Drive.

The water along W. Rose Oak Drive has been shut off to repair a leak on the line. Crews are on-site and will restore service as quickly as possible.

This afternoon, a promotion ceremony was conducted for four Mustang Police Officers.
Beginning at the top left and moving clockwise, Officer Maurice Hawkins was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, while Sergeants Seth Roecker, Cody McDaniel and Derek Hunt were all promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
Congratulations gentlemen!


Pack the Park on July 19, 2024 - This FREE event will have Food Trucks, a Side Walk Chalk Contest, Inflatables and a Movie featuring Lilo and Stitch. Food trucks include Wild Bill’s, Came’s Tacos Y Mas and Happy Camper begin serving at 6 PM and the Movie in the Park begins at dusk.
